Photospheres

If a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes an immersive view must be worth a thousand pictures. Recently I have been playing around with photospheres, a projection type which allows you to look outward in any direction from a single viewer location, essentially a 20+ photo panorama stitched onto the inside walls of a sphere. These are processing hungry to create, data-rich to store, and somewhat awkward to view with currently available products. Below is a selection of a few of my favorite scenes. Click to load. (Not working yet: I recommend then clicking the symbol in the top left to make them full-screen.)
